Y! Messenger Authentication appears to be a yahoo application and shows up in login activity like the picture below:
You can remove it by going to your Account info for your mail account and clicking on "Manage Apps.." You will see the Y! Messenger Authentication app in the list. Click it and you should get a "remove" icon.
